Your privacy matters. This page explains what personal information Anna Magic Touch collects, why, and what you can do about it. If you book online, we use the details you provide to arrange your appointment.

What this website collects

When you confirm an online booking, we collect your name, email, selected service, appointment time and any optional note. This website has no customer accounts, advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

The booking calendar

When online booking is available, the website checks availability in Anna’s Google Calendar. When you confirm, your booking details are sent through our website server and saved in a private Google Calendar event so Anna can manage your appointment. Other visitors can see available appointment times, but cannot see your booking details through this website.

We use Upstash to coordinate booking requests and limit excessive requests. It receives booking identifiers and hashed request identifiers, not your name, email text or appointment notes. Temporary rate-limit records expire after ten minutes. A booking identifier may be kept until a pending request is resolved.

When you contact us

If you email us at anna@magictouch.com or message us on Instagram, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, the date of your event and the look you have in mind.

We use this information only to reply to you, prepare a quote and provide the services you book. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for marketing. We only share it where that is needed to provide your service or where the law requires it, and we keep it only for as long as we need it for those purposes.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may automatically record basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request, for security and to keep the website running. We do not use this information to identify you.

Instagram and other links

This website links to Instagram. When you follow those links, Instagram’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.

Photos on this website

If you appear in a photo on this website and would like it removed, email anna@magictouch.com and we will take it down.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it, under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Email anna@magictouch.com and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if the way we collect or use your information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
